Want to know what’s the best sonic toothbrush in the world right now? The answer is simple in our opinion, it’s the Sonicare DiamondClean. It has been the king of Sonicare product line for the past couple of years with millions of happy customers from all over the world. It’s one of the top rated models and it comes with the most advanced features that can satisfy even the most demanding customers.
It was featured on the Elen Degenerees show and it’s promoted by several celebrities. Philips claims that it is twice as effective as manual toothbrush, it can improve gum health after just 2 weeks of use, and whiten your teeth for a few shades in just a couple of days of regular use. The only con of the DiamondClean is the price. It might seem expensive to some people, but nothing should be too expensive when it comes to our health and well-being.

OUR SONICARE DIAMONDCLEAN REVIEW:
Most electric toothbrushes feature similar designs. They are usually all white and they look boring. The DiamondClean is available in 3 different designs, so you can pick the one that suits you the best. There’s an ordinary white design, luxurious black, and pink for those gentler souls.
Brushing modes:
Personalized brushing modes are a specialty of every top-end powered toothbrush. The DiamondClean has 5 of them, so everyone can find the perfect one for any occasion and mood.
- Clean is a 2-minute all-around brushing mode designed for everyday use.
- White is a 2-minute teeth whitening mode that is designed for removing organic stains from the surface of teeth.
- Polish brightens teeth for a luminous smile. It is 1 minute long.
- Gum care is a gentle mode that combines Clean mode and an extra minute of massage for the gums and improves their health.
- Sensitive is a gentle 2-minute mode that is perfect for those with sensitive teeth.
Dual charging system:
Philips has really done a great job making the DiamondClean as functional and easy to use as it gets. Older and cheaper electric toothbrushes used to have clumsy battery charging units that looked outdated and ugly.
The DiamondClean comes with innovative dual charging system, so it can be charged either through the charging glass or travel case with USB charger. Both are included in the package, so you don’t have to worry about spending additional money on them.
Teeth whitening power:
DiamondClean comes with a special “white” brushing mode. It’s designed specifically to remove organic stains from teeth and make them brighter for a few shades. Philips claims that it takes 1 of use to see the first results, but many customer in various online stores have said that it only took 2-3 days for them to see notably whiter teeth.

Their main difference is the technology. While DiamondClean uses ultrasonic technology with up to 31.000 brush strokes per minute, Oral B 7000 uses 3D cleaning action with 3-way brushing movements.

How Sonic technology works in toothbrushes
As an enthusiast with expertise in dental care, I am thrilled to explain how Sonic Technology works in toothbrushes. To achieve a clean and healthy mouth, brushing one’s teeth is crucial. Sonic toothbrushes are becoming increasingly popular, and for a good reason! Unlike traditional toothbrushes, they use Sonic Technology, which acts by generating rapid vibrations. This technology is capable of creating upwards of 30,000 brush strokes per minute, which helps to remove even the most stubborn grime and bacteria.
Sonic toothbrushes derive their cleaning power mainly from the speed and vigor of their vibrations, which propels water and toothpaste to more viable areas of the mouth, thus eliminating the bacteria that cause plaque and gum disease. Suppose you have ever experienced that fresh and clean sensation after visiting the dentist. In that case, you will be pleased to learn that sonic toothbrushes are designed to replicate and enhance that feeling. They have the ability to eliminate up to 100% of plaque, making them incredibly effective at preventing gum disease.
Since Sonic Technology toothbrushes use vibrations instead of brushing motion to clean the teeth, it creates somewhat of a tickling sensation in the mouth. Although, it may take a couple of days to get accustomed to, but it’s a small price to pay for achieving cleaner teeth and gums. Another advantage of Sonic toothbrushes is that they are affordable and are readily available on the market. Anyone can access the benefits of the Sonic toothbrush, making it an all-inclusive oral hygiene option.
In conclusion, Sonic toothbrushes offer several unique and useful benefits for those seeking a more efficient and thorough mouth cleaning experience. They are affordable, easy to use, and readily available. They are designed to help prevent gum disease and reduce the buildup of plaque. With Sonic Toothbrushes, you can enjoy cleaner teeth and a healthier mouth, which will undeniably translate to a more confident and radiant smile.
Maintenance and cleaning of Philips Sonicare DiamondClean toothbrush
Maintaining and cleaning your Philips Sonicare DiamondClean toothbrush is of utmost importance to ensure the effectiveness and longevity of your device. The Sonicare toothbrush is designed to provide a superior cleaning experience, and regular cleaning and maintenance practices will guarantee that your device performs to the best of its abilities.
The first step in maintaining your Philips Sonicare DiamondClean toothbrush is to ensure that it is charged when necessary. After usage, recharge the device until the battery indicator light is completely filled. This way, you will ensure that your device is fully charged and ready to use when you need it.
Another essential aspect of maintaining your Sonicare toothbrush is to replace the brush head every three to six months. The brush head should be replaced more frequently if the bristles appear frayed or if you have been sick, to avoid the risk of re-infection. To replace the brush head, grip the head firmly and twist counterclockwise, then pull the brush head away from the handle.
Lastly, to ensure that your Sonicare toothbrush remains hygienic, clean the handle and brush head regularly. Use warm, soapy water and a soft cloth to clean the handle, ensuring that water does not enter the internals of the device. For the brush head, rinse it with warm water after every use and soak it in hydrogen peroxide for 10-15 minutes to disinfect it. These steps will help to extend the life of your Sonicare toothbrush and maintain its superior performance in keeping your teeth and mouth healthy.
I have that toothbrush, I got it for a great deal at Kohls. It replaced my Sonicare Pro. I’ve had it since it came out. I just went to the dentist this week and the dentist said she couldn’t tell I don’t floss. The hygienist said it was the easiest cleaning she’s done in years… and I only go to the dentist once a year
I’ve been using Sonicare products forever, but the problem is that the mechanicals die over time. It’s inevitable. Every one has had a span of about 2 years, tops. The QC used to be much higher. If you register the product the company is very good about replacing the handles, but it’s a PITA. Therefore, instead of buying the best one, I’ve learned to get some midrange version that has just the features I need and nothing more, so I can spend as little as possible. It’s the sonic action that you’re looking for with the device. It’s a toothbrush, after all. How much intelligence, artificial or otherwise, does it take to use effectively?
Soniccare does a VERY POOR JOB of identifying which replacement heads go with which bases (especially older models).
Every Soniccare base should have a big model number on it.
Every Soniccare set of heads should clearly list which base model numbers are compatible.
I went through 4 Oral-Bs (including one of the very top-of-the-line models) before getting a Sonicare
in my experience, the Oral-Bs battery either dies rather quickly, or it doesn’t handle a weak battery very well
on the other hand, my Sonicare (cheapest model) has lasted as long as all my Oral-Bs combined and is still going strong
that plus it does a better job. after a month of using it, plaque that had built up while using the oral-b just broke apart and flaked off my tooth and even my hygienist has commented that I’m doing a better job keeping my teeth clean
